Microneedling

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling, or collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure where thin needles make controlled micro-injuries (tiny holes) in the top layer of your skin. These controlled injuries help stimulate your skin’s healing process, so it produces more collagen and elastin.

What’s the difference between Microneedling and Microdermabrasion?

Microneedling is different from microdermabrasion in that microneedling uses needles and microdermabrasion uses a device with a rough edge to exfoliate the uppermost layer of skin. Microneedling goes deeper into your skin than microdermabrasion so it’s better to treat problems beneath the surface such as acne scars, surgical scars, enlarged pores, wrinkles, and stretch marks.

How can Microneedling improve my skin?

Microneedling can improve the appearance of acne scars, surgical scars, enlarged pores, wrinkles, and stretch marks.
