Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a physical exfoliation method in which a sterile surgical scalpel is used to gently shave the stratum corneum (the outer layer of the skin) removing dead skin cells and vellus hair (a.k.a. “peach fuzz”) on the face. The result is glowing, brighter, and ultra-smooth skin.
• Dermaplaning stimulates cell turnover and allows for better product penetration
• Great option for sensitive skin and women during pregnancy who want an effective exfoliation treatment
• It can be performed before other treatments such as lasers, Dermalinfusion, microdermabrasion and peels
• Little to no downtime and can be performed more frequently than other treatments
Note: Dermaplaning DOES NOT cause vellus hair to grow back thicker or darker. It is not recommended for patients with cystic or active acne or those with excessive facial hair due to hirsutism .
